1. About us

2. Orders
- Orders are placed online at chicbite.co.uk and paid for at checkout.
- The minimum order value is £99.
- Orders require at least 3 days' notice before the delivery date. For large events please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance.
- An order is confirmed once payment is accepted and you receive a confirmation email with your order number.
- We reserve the right to decline an order (e.g. delivery address outside our service area, capacity limits); in that case you receive a full refund.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices are shown in GBP. We are not VAT registered; no VAT is added to our prices.
- A delivery fee applies to every delivery order and is shown at checkout before you pay. Collection from our Middleton kitchen is free of charge.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
4. Delivery
- We deliver up to 20 miles from our base in Middleton (Greater Manchester), including Manchester, Salford, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury and surrounding areas, subject to the postcode check at checkout.
- You can also choose free Collection from our kitchen at 77d Long Street, Middleton M24 6UN, during our opening hours.
- You choose a delivery (or collection) date and time slot at checkout. Someone must be available at the address during the chosen delivery slot.
- On delivery day, our driver will call you on the contact number you provided when they arrive. If we cannot reach you, the driver will wait up to 10 minutes before continuing to other deliveries.
- Any order that cannot be delivered is then held for you to collect from 77d Long Street, Middleton M24 6UN until we close at 6:00pm that same day.
5. Cancellations and changes
- You may cancel or change your order up to 72 hours before the delivery date for a full refund.
- As our food is prepared fresh to order, cancellations made less than 72 hours before delivery cannot be guaranteed a refund — please contact us and we will do what we can to help.
- To cancel or change an order, call 07503 716141 or email info@chicbite.co.uk with your order number.
- Please note that the standard 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to perishable, freshly prepared food.
6. Allergens and dietary requirements
- Allergen information for each box is shown on the product page.
- All items are prepared in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, celery and sesame — we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.
- Tell us about allergies in the order notes or by phone before the delivery date.
7. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control; if we cannot fulfil your order, we refund you in full.
8. Complaints
Contact info@chicbite.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photos where relevant. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
